Didsbury SciBar - SETI, with Prof. Michael Garrett, 21st January 2018

Join Prof. Michael Garrett, Director of Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics, for a talk on the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI).

The Albert Club, West Didsbury, 18:30, Monday 21st January 2019.

Didsbury SciBar offers exactly what it says on the tin: science in a bar. This month they've truly outdone themselves - no less than the Director of Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics will be discussing SETI. This fascinating subject will no doubt stimulate endless conversation, and he'll be taking questions from attendees if you wish to further explore your own tangents.

Entrance is absolutely free, just head on in and look for the yellow Mensa logo on a table. Friends and family are, of course, very welcome.

Should you be joining us, I'd greatly appreciate an RSVP at james.o@mensanorthwest.com, so I can look out for you and try anticipate numbers.
