Join Family Mensa for one of the North West’s classic days out.
Chester Zoo, 11:30, Saturday 23rd June 2018.
Some events require no introduction. With over 21,000 animals, Chester Zoo is a cornucopia of intrigue, for child and adult alike. Whether you like fish or fowl, reptiles or rodents, rhino, elephants or the best animal, tigers – they’re all here.
Beneath the brilliant British sunshine we’ll explore the many wonders of the living world. Or cower from the inevitable drizzle, dreaming of more alliterative climes. One of the two.
As with all Family Mensa events, non-members accompanying a Mensan are very welcome - be they parents, grandparents, siblings or otherwise.
Adults - £18.20
Children - £15.40
Students/Senior Citizens - £16.80
Under 3s - Free
Please book through the form above before Thursday 21st June, and I’ll arrange adding you to a group booking (this approach saves 30% on the standard ticket price).
Anyone is still very welcome to purchase tickets privately, or simply turn up on the day, but this will be at full price. Either way, I’d greatly appreciate an RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please Note: Those taking advantage of the group discount will be required to enter with the whole group, at 11:30.
We’ll meet at the Zoo entrance - as has become customary, I’ll be holding the Mensa logo on a white sheet of paper.
Otherwise, late comers remain very welcome, just contact me in advance, and I'll provide my mobile number so as to let you know where I’ve gotten to (who am I kidding? I’ll be by the tigers).
Chester Zoo is easily accessible by both road and public transport. For full details, I’ll defer to the Zoo’s own website.
